Ski tour Loderstein (1,830 m) Reith in the Alpbach valley
Our little insider tip in the Alpbach valley with only 1,000 m ascent and magnificent panorama
The ski tour starts at the Maria vom Guten Rat chapel in Hygna (Reith in the Alpbach valley). The first 600 m along the roadside until the road splits to Kolber and Neader. From there uphill over meadows, a larger forest belt is bypassed in a right curve and you reach Hechenblaikenhof. The ski tour continues slightly to the left in the clearing to Hechenblaikenalm, 1396 m and to Wildsauhütte (open only in summer). There sharply left, follow a forest road briefly, then through sparse forest upwards to a clearing and left of the ridge to the highest point the Loderstein (1,830 m).
You are rewarded with a magnificent view into the Alpbach valley, Inn valley and Zillertal!
