KulTour - On the trail of marble
Easy circular hike on the valley floor - from the marble to the Hilaribergl monastery.
The hike starts in the village center in Münster and first leads through the village area to the Kneipp facility, then on to the hamlets Kronbichl and Grünsbach and along a beautiful hiking trail to the quarry area of the famous "Kramsach Marble". From there, it goes down to the "Hilaribergl Monastery" (walking time approx. 2 hours). After a short visit, follow hiking trail W7 to the next destination - the "Museumsfriedhof". Cheerful and solemn at the same time are the quirky grave inscriptions of the Museumsfriedhof Kramsach. Here you will also find a nice picture series on the "Dance of Death" as well as the "World Peace Cross".From here, there is the possibility to take the bus back to the starting point. All others hike back to Münster village center via hiking trails (W7 and R1) and side roads. (approx. 1 hour)
Note: total time including visits: approx. 5 hours
