Stories about Eating, Drinking, and Being Bad
The Austrian actor Karl Markovics presents, together with the Upper Austrian Concert Schrammeln, a literary-musical evening titled “The Deceitful Heurige & Other Calamities”.
In humorous and pointed texts by Alfred Polgar, Joseph Roth, Anton Kuh, Friedrich Torberg, Karl Kraus, and other Austrian authors, Markovics dedicates himself to the small and large calamities of life – revolving around the basic needs of eating, drinking, and being human.
The evening is musically accompanied by Peter Gillmayr (violin), Kathrin Lenzenweger (violin), Andrej Serkov (Schrammel harmonica), and Guntram Zauner (contrabass), featuring music by Johann Schrammel, Franz Schubert, Robert Stolz, Josef Mikulas, and others.
The net proceeds from the event of the Lions Club Kramsach-Tiroler Seenland will benefit people in the region who have fallen into distress through no fault of their own.
