Upper high path Alpbach - Inneralpbach
Scenic hike with nice places to stop for refreshments
Beautiful hike on the sunny side of Alpbach. The winter hike starts in the village centre. Above the church, you walk towards the Congress Centre always along the street past Hotel Alphof to the Zottahof/Roßmoos junction; there right over the bridge towards Alpengasthof Rossmoos - Jausenstation Wurmhof. The views from these two places to stop for refreshments will make your heart beat faster.
The hike continues to Inneralpbach. From the Wurmhof, continue following the marker over the "Talgraben" towards Inneralpbach. You always have a wonderful view of the Großer Galtenberg, the Sagtaler peaks, the Wiedersbergerhorn, as well as valleywards towards Reith and the Inn valley.
Upon arrival in Inneralpbach, the next place to stop is Connys - Original Tyrolean tavern. Directly in front of the tavern is the bus stop. Bus line 4074 leads back to the village centre of Alpbach. Alternatively, you can also hike back to the village via the middle high path.
