Reither Kogel
Easy snowshoe hikes in the idyllic forest and on the plateau at the foot of the Reither Kogel
The snowshoeing route starts with a ride on the 8-person gondola of the Reitherkogelbahn up to Reither Kogel. The hike thus actually begins at the mountain station of the Reitherkogelbahn. After putting on the snowshoes and firmly holding the ski poles, the snowshoe hike leads over meadows past the Nissl farm and through the forest towards the Fürst farm. You can trudge cross-country through the snow here, either through the deeply snow-covered forest or over one or another meadow. The route leads to the Hinterkogelhof at around 1,239 m.
The view of the Inn Valley, Alpbachtal, and Zillertal is amazing.
Return follows the same path back to the mountain station of the Reitherkogelbahn. Descent to the valley station with the gondola of the Reitherkogelbahn.
