Reither Kogel summit experience
Beautiful circular hike through the Juppi Magic Forest with a summit experience. Due to the short ascent to the summit, the hike is also suitable for younger children.
The starting point of this family-friendly hike is the flower village Reith in Alpbachtal. You take the Reitherkogel cable car up to the mountain station. Once there, you hike in the direction of the Juppi Magic Forest and follow the signposting "Reither Kogel." Via a path, it goes swiftly uphill through forest and mountain pines to the summit.
The Reither Kogel is located at the entrance to the Zillertal. Due to its exposed location, despite the low elevation, you enjoy a fantastic view.
For the return trip, you first follow the same path before continuing the circular route R11 - Juppi Magic Forest - back to the mountain station.
