Day 2: 3-day family route Alpbachtal
The second day of the 3-day family route leads you from the rustic Holzalm to the Alpengasthof Pinzgerhof with dreamy views over the entire valley. Optional beforehand a summit experience on the Gratlspitze (from Holzalm) can be included. At the Pinzgerhof, the little ones await a playground, a large meadow for playing, fun on the farm with cow milking, feeding animals, and a petting zoo!
Day 2: Holzalm - Pinzgerhof -> approx. 3 h (with summit tour to Gratlspitze approx. 2 h 30 min more)
After breakfast, the second stage of the 3-day family route continues. On this stage, you hike without longer ascents, over meadows and forests until you reach the Alpengasthof Pinzgerhof in Reith im Alpbachtal. Above the Berggasthof Holzalm you walk towards Hauserjoch and downwards to Innerhauserhalm and then continue along an alpine meadow path to Silberbergalm. Here keep left and stay always on the R24 path, first over alpine meadows and then through a forest to the Pinzgerhof. Here awaits you a great accommodation with a wonderful view over the Inn valley.
Tip: Summit experience included
If you would like to experience a magnificent view from a mountain summit on this day, you should also tackle the Gratlspitze. From the Gratlspitze, you enjoy a magnificent 360° panoramic view. For this, you first go through forest, later over increasingly rugged terrain for about one and a half hours uphill. Arrived at the summit cross, you look happily down into the valley and enjoy a wonderful 360° panoramic view.
