Bischoferalm circular route
Circular route in Alpbach with beautiful views
The hike starts directly from the Alpbach village center. You go downhill (east direction) and follow the signs to the right about 50 m after the Hotel zur Post, or there is also a footpath between Postalm and Hotel zur Post past beautiful houses to the district "Trat". Here there is the option to either hike left up the wide path to Bischoferalm (not serviced) or continue right to the district Hausberg and uphill through meadows and forests via the A6 trail to the alpine pasture. Here the path is described as a circular route.
Above Bischoferalm, you will find a stop for refreshments at the alpine tavern "Bischofer Käsalm.
