The Farmer's Theatre Association Reith presents: "G´heirat keascht!" (loosely translated: There has to be a wedding!) - a comedy in 3 acts by Marianne Santl
Plot:
The Stangassinger farm is heavily in debt and farmer Hubert sees no other way out than to marry his daughter Evi off to a rich farmer's son. However, she is completely against this and, with the help of grandpa Martl and her friends, she devises plans to prevent the unwanted marriage.
Confusion and chaos are inevitable when a circus comes to the village and grandpa Martl attempts to play fate. A solution to the problem must be found, and as quickly as possible - overnight!
Premiere: 25th April 2025
