"Silent Advent" in Rattenberg

Advent is celebrated differently in medieval Rattenberg. Enjoy the special atmosphere in Austria's smallest town by candlelight and with warming fireplaces.

On the Advent weekends, the medieval town of Rattenberg is bathed in candle light, the glow of torchlights and open fires! Savour culinary delicacies at the various eateries in town and look out for the perfect Christmas present for your loved ones in the shops. Contemplative Advent music in the towns' shops will accompany you through the afternoon and evening.

3:00 - 6:00 p.m. - Anklöpfler (groups enacting the Nativity play) and Weisenbläser (traditional group of brass instrument players) wander through Rattenberg 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. - exhibition at the Augustinian Museum (admission fee: € 6,00)
