You already know how to knit knit and purl stitches, but dream of finally knitting your first sweater? Then this workshop at flausch is just right for you. In a relaxed setting, we will guide you step by step through all the techniques you need for your first garment.

What to expect:

• Twisted purl & twisted knit stitches
• Raglan stitches including knit and purl increases: knitting the perfect fit for your sweater
• German Short Rows – short rows explained simply
• Italian bind-off for a perfect finish

Additionally:

• Tips for the right sweater pattern & yarn selection
• Personal consultation: bring your desired pattern or feel free to get advice (patterns & yarns can be purchased at flausch)
  

For whom?
This workshop is ideal if you already know how to knit knit and purl stitches and want to take the next step. No prior knowledge of complicated techniques is needed.

What you need to bring:
The most important thing is your sweater pattern (if you already have one). You can borrow needles from me – or you can start right away with your own perfect yarn. If you are still looking for the right yarn, just let me know before the workshop. I’m happy to help you choose the ideal yarn for your project. This way, you can start working on your actual sweater – stitch by stitch.
