Wildsauhütte

Visit the sunny terrace and enjoy the splendid view and culinary delights at the Wildsauhütte!

The Wildsauhütte is located in the district of Neader above Reith in the Alpbachtal. You can reach it both on foot and by bike. Ideal starting points are the Kerschbaumer Saddle, the mountain station of the Reitherkogelbahn in Reith in the Alpbachtal, or the mountain station of the Wiedersbergerhornbahn in Alpbach.

Here are our hiking tips:

Summit hike Loderstein: Beautiful round tour with about 700 meters of elevation gain. After just 3 km from the starting point, you will pass the Wildsauhütte. You can either take a break here or on the way back.

Alpbachtal Alpine Experience Hike: Hike from mountain station to mountain station. Beautiful tour with only 500 meters of elevation gain in wonderful scenery and magnificent views. Exactly halfway along the route, you can stop at the Wildsauhütte.

Mountain bike tour round path Hochlindalm 317: A physically challenging round tour that makes your heart race not just because of its great views. If you don't want to ride the complete round of 800 meters of elevation gain and 16 km, you can take a break at the Wildsauhütte after 7 km and enjoy your time on the terrace!
