What awaits you on the Tyrolean Inn Cycle Path

For outdoor lovers who enjoy pedaling, the Tyrolean section of the 530-kilometre Inn Cycle Path is a veritable paradise. On 150 kilometres, two varied stages lead from Innsbruck to Kufstein - right through the Alpbachtal holiday region. Find out the most important insider tips for both sections.

RATTENBERG - WÖRGL - ERL B. KUFSTEIN

Route: Rattenberg - Erl

Our special tip: Start with a visit to the Museum of Tyrolean Farmhouses - the largest open-air museum in the Tyrol! We recommend that you plan at least 1.5 hours for this excursion so that you can relax and immerse yourself in the past. Admission is included with your Alpbachtal Card.

Our special tip: on this section, don't stop at the published end in Strass im Zillertal! It is worth pedalling for another ten kilometres. This will take you to Rattenberg, Austria's smallest town. Be inspired by the unique glass craft or the medieval townscape. Alternatively, the holiday resort of Radfeld beckons with beautiful nature experiences directly on the Inn River, and Matzen Castle lies on the way to Rattenberg or Radfeld. A stop in the picturesque park landscape with the overlooming castle is also a great experience.

Slowing down on the MotivaTOUR

The MotivaTOUR cycle tour is ideal for those seeking tranquillity. The 16-kilometre long route route runs directly along the well-known Inn Cycle Path and passes beautiful vantage points and excursion destinations on the way.

It starts in St. Gertraudi near Reith im Alpbachtal. Via Brixlegg and Rattenberg, Austria's smallest town you cycle leisurely to Kundl. The tour takes you past 12 inspiring power spots and invites you to pause again and again. Matzen Park, the Lindner Innovation Centre and the magical Kundl Gorge are just three of these places worth experiencing.

Notice boards showing exercises that encourage you to be mindful of the here and now. Other panels also tell you about the success stories of local entrepreneurs - so the name of the tour says it all.
