Host information
The year 1785 is engraved on the marble arch on the ground floor.
In August 2008, we began renovating this old building.
Everything inside was hollowed out and rebuilt down to the foundation walls.
The outer walls have a thickness of about 90 cm, which was one reason we opted for no insulation. The solid brick walls were plastered inside and out with lime and sand, achieving a completely mineral and biological structure for the walls. Over time, you will notice that our house breathes, which has a very positive effect on the living climate.
All partition walls are made of clay bricks, and only mineral paint was used for the wall color.
The floor is oak parquet, and heating is provided by underfloor heating.
The windows are made of untreated larch wood, and we did not add a balcony because it does not correspond with the character of the house, according to the preservation office.

Under this motto, our apartments are equipped with their own sauna and bathtub. So even rainy days can not harm you. From 5 nights you will receive a breakfast basket, with partly farmhouse and regional products.
