Voldöpper Spitze from Berglsteinersee

From the Berglsteinersee parking lot, walk back along the road towards Salberghof. Once there, follow the road downhill to Kruckenhauser pond. As soon as you reach the pond, always follow the signs for Voldöpper Spitze (869 m).

Passing by a few still visible wall remains of the Schintlburg ruins, the forest road always leads uphill again towards the west. If you want to shorten the path, you can turn right onto the trail after a while. If you prefer it more leisurely, you can also just continue on the forest road. The trail crosses the forest road once and then continues until you reach the forest road again. Turn left here, passing the idyllic Heumösern Alm (nice rest area) until the next sign.

The ascent to Voldöpper Spitze now leads steadily uphill. At a clearing, you reach a small log cabin which, in strong wind, offers an alternative place to rest on the summit pasture. From here, it is only about 20 minutes to your summit victory, just continue following the trail upwards.

Return the same way back to the parking lot. If you then feel like a small additional round around Berglsteinersee, you will finally be rewarded with a stop at the idyllic restaurant "Berglsteinersee 712er Lounge", located directly at the picturesque Berglsteinersee.
