Breitenbach alpine pasture hike
Varied hike in Breitenbach over four alpine pastures
The route starts in Breitenbach, district Schönau. After the tennis court, turn right and follow the path towards Ruhreralm, a steep but easy ascent, first to Ruhreralm (approx. 1 hour), then to Ascherkreuz 1,458 m (approx. 1 hour from Ruhreralm) and the Aschaalm, a small part of the way back and over alpine pastures to the Nachberg high pasture, from there downhill to the Nachberg lower pasture; now a path leads partly quite steep but safe past the wooden chapel Nachbergalm downhill to the Schönau district; from here approx. 15 minutes along the road back to the starting point.
